Data Security
Since 2001, PlanITROI has a history of processing over 60 million media devices (HDD, Tape, SSD, Flash, etc.) and destroying massive amounts of data stored on them, we have never had an incident of client’s confidential information being exposed.
Our methodology for the protection of client information is sound and based on industry practices.
Data Erasure
All data, on all devices, is completely erased to NIST 800-88 standards – 100% data erasure guaranteed. A Certificate of Erasure is provided for each device on a serialized basis.
Media Destruction
Since 2001, PlanITROI has never had an incident of client’s confidential information being exposed after processing over 60 million media devices (HDD, Tape, SSD, Flash, etc.) and destroying massive amounts of data stored on them.
Reporting
Every asset is tracked by OEM serial number, Client Asset Tag and PlanITROI unique ID. PlanITROI’s systems capture each action that was taken with an asset, including but not limited to data sanitization, which technician worked on it and for how long, any repairs or parts that were required.
Systems & Control
Erasure System provides shop floor control over erasure operator forcing the adherence to Client’s Service Level Agreement for data eradication. In addition, System provides test results and automatic next steps to the operator while recording every step in the process and reporting to the Client by Serial Number (SN) on Drive and tracing it back to the SN on Unit.
